Overcoming obstacles is crucial for success.

Nokhba had established itself as Cairo's premier destination for specialty roasted coffee, yet its online presence fell short. The social media feed lacked consistency, posts were reactive, and engagement stagnated below 1% for six months. While the audience recognized the quality of the coffee, they were unfamiliar with the brand itself.

  • There was no cohesive visual identity across platforms; each post seemed to belong to a different brand. The content calendar was erratic, often leaving gaps of 2-3 weeks without posts. Competitors with inferior products were achieving four times the reach on Instagram. Additionally, there was a complete absence of video content in a landscape where Reels accounted for 70% of discovery.

Strategic Vision

Rather than another generic "product on a table" feed, we redefined Nokhba's narrative to center around the coffee ritual — the first pour, the serene morning, the moment before a meeting. The campaign, titled "Slow Down, Nokhba Up," embraced moody, high-contrast photography and short-form videos that resembled short films more than traditional ads.

  • Visual style — rich browns, brass accents, and natural lighting; every shot designed to convey a premium feel. Tone of voice — exuding quiet confidence rather than aggressive selling; captions served as reflections rather than promotions. Content schedule — 4 posts per week, 2 Reels weekly, and 1 story sequence daily during the campaign.
